Port Townsend Sangha’s Day of Mindfulness Program

Days of Mindfulness (DoMs) are one-day retreats  offered by the Port Townsend Sangha. They are typically led by visiting teachers, and include periods of sitting and walking meditation as well as dharma talks. Occasionally, an experienced Sangha member will conduct a peer-led DoM that includes recorded material as well as sitting and walking meditation.

Apart from the teachings and presentations themselves, or during periods of guided meditation or discussion periods, silence is maintained during the daylong retreat to strengthen and stabilize the group energy.

DoMs are announced on this page, and notices are sent by email to all on our mailing list.

Days of Mindfulness are currently scheduled for May and July with two of our most popular visiting teachers. An announcement will be made when registration opens.

More information on the monthly DoM program is found here.
